Notes on LDA diet variations:
Doctors across the country have successfully used different dietary approaches for their LDA patients. Based on input from those physicians, here are common dietary themes:
Many recommend a Paleolithic-style diet during the injection week—avoiding the top 6 common sensitivities: gluten (wheat), dairy, egg, yeast, corn, and soy.
Others suggest an anti-inflammatory or bland diet focused on lean meats and vegetables.
Additional recommendations often include avoiding: artificial sweeteners, sugar, seed oils, and fructose.
*Please consult your LDA provider for specific guidance tailored to your case.
**It is important for patients with multiple known food sensitivities to follow the original diet below.

Cooked Veggies ONLY Carrots, Celery, Cabbage, Rhubarb, Parsnips, Rutabagas, Tapioca Root products.

Bottled, R/O, filtered or purified water, flat or fizzy for drinking and cooking
NO CAFFEINATED Beverages INCLUDING COFFEE OR TEA. (If you expect lack of caffeine to be a problem ask the doctor in advance for a script for caffeine pills).
Avoid all oils, margarine, seasonings (except salt), herbs, beverages, chewing gum, and any other things you might put in your mouth during the 3 critical days. Any food not listed above is unsafe to eat in any quantity during the critical three days.

Do I have to follow the diet?
While we highly recommend following the diet, we understand that it can be especially challenging for young children and some adults. LDA therapy has shown excellent results even when the dietary protocol isn’t followed strictly. We encourage you to speak with your practitioner, who can help guide you toward the best decision for your individual needs.
